The background
A financial consultancy employing over 1350 staff across 16 UK sites. Rapid growth and acquisitions has necessitated network expansion, an increase in capacity and the integration of new network assets. The company is also coping with the move from office to home working and back again, whilst migrating their staff from Skype to Microsoft Teams. This expanding estate needs increased support, greater visibility and on-going maintenance.
The solution
Our audit, vulnerability assessment, net-flow and device level monitoring gave us a clear understanding of the existing areas of weakness. A series of maintenance windows allowed us to reconfigure the network environment whilst implementing our Network Care Plan. In Q1 2021 we started the full scale network transformation to deliver a high performance SD-WAN network with 24/7 monitoring, maintenance and support.
